Unfortunately, sometimes life gets in the way and either due to family issues, lack of time or financial constraints the filing deadline has passed. And there you are, one of the estimated million + citizens who owe back taxes.
Sometimes it feels overwhelming. You know the right thing to do, but you’re unsure of the consequences of not being able to pay your entire tax debt. You feel like you’re a failure or you feel like you’re the only one in this position. You’re not.

This site is operated by an individual with no specfic knowledge or training in any type of tax law or law in general. So, if this site is not an official IRS site or a legal site why is it here? Because I was you and I know what you’re going through. When I stumbled, I wish I had a non-judgemental person to turn to that had been through it. For you, this site is that person.
